USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Credit Analyst/Credit Manager to join our team. This position will be located in our White Plains, NY location.

Function:
The Credit Manager/Credit Analyst evaluates customer creditworthiness, monitors financial risk, and recommends strategies to optimize credit decisions and minimize delinquencies. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills to align credit policies with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and manage assigned customers' credit limits, ensuring alignment with company policies and risk tolerance. Recommend and implement strategies for managing specific customer accounts, and overall credit portfolio Monitor and evaluate delinquency trends and account conditions to identify and mitigate risks. Establish and implement actions to mitigate risks. Communicate with customers to resolve past due accounts, negotiate payment terms, and facilitate resolution of disputes. Direct junior team members, such as Credit Associates, to handle and execute administrative and clerical tasks. Credit Managers/Credit Analysts will be responsible for ensuring completion of assigned tasks, assume accountability and provide feedback. Participate in annual evaluation performance of junior team members, including observations of work performance and productivity Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, decisions, and account actions.

Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Branch Managers, and Cash Applications, to resolve account discrepancies and support customer needs. Reconcile accounts and provide detailed analyses to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.

Prepare specialized billing reports and respond to customer inquiries related to credit or account status. Provide strategic recommendations on credit approvals by reviewing customer orders and evaluating credit limits. Conduct data analysis using financial metrics and trends to inform strategic credit decisions.

Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to streamline credit processes and minimize delays. Perform ongoing system maintenance to ensure accuracy of customer and account data.

Generate and deliver detailed reports to department managers on account performance and collection progress. Prepare and submit customer billings using AIA format and 3rd party online billing sites
Qualifications and Skills:
Advanced analytical skills to evaluate creditworthiness and financial risk. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with customers and internal teams. Advanced negotiation skills to establish favorable payment terms and resolve disputes.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and account reconciliation. Problem-solving skills to address account discrepancies and propose effective solutions.

Decision-making and organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks efficiently. Ability to adapt to new software systems and processes. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration) is strongly preferred. 2+ years of experience in a credit or collections role with exposure to financial analysis.
