Job Description

This position can be remote, hybrid, or on-site. The candidate must live in the area of Jonesboro, AR for on-site meetings. Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join our Commercial Lending team. This individual will be responsible for analyzing commercial loan requests, assessing credit risk, and providing recommendations to support sound lending decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis skills, experience with commercial lending, and the ability to work closely with lenders and credit leadership. Qualifications 7+ years of commercial credit analysis and underwriting experience in a banking environment. Strong expertise analyzing construction and commercial real estate transactions. Advanced knowledge of construction budgets, project feasibility, and cost analysis. Experience evaluating project cash flow, repayment sources, and exit strategies. Strong cash flow analysis skills for individuals, guarantors, and operating entities. Ability to analyze complex financial statements, tax returns, and borrowing structures. Experience underwriting large and complex credit relationships, including transactions exceeding $20MM. Strong understanding of commercial real estate risk assessment and credit policy. Skilled in identifying, mitigating, and communicating credit risks. Ability to prepare detailed credit memorandums and underwriting recommendations. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with lending, credit, and executive teams.
