Manager of Dual Credit Partnerships - Full-Time - Lufkin

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
o Working collaboratively and successfully with others. o Managing data and meeting reporting deadlines. Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word and Excel) and web-based applications. Ability to travel regularly/daily to assigned high school campuses and other off-site locations
Preferred:
Masters degree in Education, Guidance and Counseling, or a related field from an accreditedcollege or university.
Experience:
o Experience in academic advising, success coaching, or student support services within a secondary or post-secondary setting; o Working with high school students and/or dual credit programs. o Problem-solving across multiple systems. o Developing and assisting with recruitment strategies for dual credit programs. o Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and high school administrators. o With learning management system(s), preferably Blackboard.
Training or Technical Skills:
o Knowledge of student information system(s). o Proficient with Google Workspace tools like Docs, Sheets, and Drive to create, share, and manage work.

Provide proactive support for students, high schools, and the college, ensuring no student falls through the cracks during the transition from high school to college. Connect with and motivate a diverse student population, translating complex college jargon into actionable steps for students and parents. Work independently at off-campus high school sites while maintaining a cohesive connection to the Angelina College Academic Affairs team. Maintain a high energy level and recruitment mindset to drive enrollment and student persistence. It is the intent of the basic job requirements, duties, and responsibilities that these minimum requirements should therefore, be referred to as a guide for, rather than a limitation to the services required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The position will report to the Senior Director of Academic Operations for job responsibilities and other College related activities as outlined in the Policies and Procedures Manual. Essential duties include but are not limited to the following: Oversee the end-to-end processing of dual credit applications, registrations, and billing. Maintain the integrity of student records within the college database to ensure accurate enrollment reporting, program tracking, and data collection. Serve as the primary college liaison for high school counselors and administrators. Regularly communicate updates regarding Guided Pathways, course offerings, schedules, and legislative updates impacting dual credit. Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to help students select a major or career path early. Bridge the gap between dual credit and full-time post-secondary enrollment by assisting students with

applications, university transfer applications, and scholarship searches. Advise students on Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements and multiple measures. Interpret scores for placement and coordinate with college personnel to ensure students are "college-ready" before enrollment. Monitor student performance, including early alerts and mid-term grades, to intervene with at-risk students. Communicate progress, transfer requirements, and graduation milestones to high school partners and college personnel. Plan, promote, and execute comprehensive outreach activities, including orientations, parent information sessions, and workshops designed to facilitate a seamless transition into post-secondary education. Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders, including faculty advisors, campus student success teams, university admissions representatives, and workforce partners, to align dual credit coursework with long-term degree completion and career placement. Ensure all program activities comply with institutional policies, THECB guidelines, and state regulations. Support proactive recruitment and outreach to promote a college-going culture within partner districts. Serve on committees, attend departmental meetings, and perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of Angelina College. Work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment and parent sessions. Conduct regular, in-person visits to high school campuses and community locations for outreach, presentations, and student engagement.
CONTRACT & SALARY
$40,000.00 per year in addition to excellent employee benefits. Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States must be verified for the successful candidate.
