Credit Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Credit Clerk to join a busy team in Little Rock, Arkansas. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment, stays positive under pressure, and can manage several priorities at once. The role offers a strong entry point into corporate credit, with the potential to grow into a Credit Analyst position for someone who demonstrates strong analytical ability and organization. This position follows a standard 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule and is interviewing immediately.

Responsibilities:

Review customer credit information and supporting documents to help maintain accurate account records and informed credit decisions. Perform a variety of administrative and credit-related tasks while balancing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced office setting. Use Microsoft Excel to organize data, track account activity, and support reporting needs for the credit function. Assist with collections and follow-up activities by communicating with customers and internal teams regarding account status and outstanding balances. Maintain organized files and documentation to ensure credit records are current, complete, and easy to access. Support the broader corporate credit team with day-to-day operational needs and contribute to efficient workflow management. Demonstrate strong analytical thinking when reviewing information, identifying discrepancies, and escalating concerns when appropriate. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate information carefully and accurately. Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks effectively in a high-volume work environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and confidence working with spreadsheets and data entry. Positive, detail-oriented attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with customers and internal stakeholders. Exposure to credit, collections, or corporate credit is helpful, but not required for this entry-level opportunity. Availability to work an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule and participate in interviews as soon as possible.
