This role evaluates customer creditworthiness, assesses financial risk, and establishes appropriate credit terms to protect the company's financial interests while supporting business growth. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage the entire credit granting and analysis process Analyze credit data and financial statements for both prospective and existing customers to assess risk Recommend approval or denial of credit based on thorough research and evaluation Establish and adjust credit limits and terms for new and existing customers Identify delinquent accounts and develop action plans to ensure timely repayment Resolve customer complaints, discrepancies, and processing errors Perform additional duties within the Credit Department as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty effectively. Education Bachelor's degree preferred Or 5+ years of business experience as a Credit Analyst Required Experience, Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of credit risk factors Excellent organizational and planning skills Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in computer applications and internet research High attention to detail and accuracy Resourceful, self-motivated, and proactive Ability to exercise sound judgment and adapt to changing situations Strong prioritization and delegation skills Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Work Environment / Physical Demands This position operates in a typical office environment with a moderate noise level.
