Job Description

The Credit Specialist supports customer account administration, credit and collections, and contract-related processes. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, assisting with credit reviews, and ensuring contract and billing accuracy while partnering with internal teams and customers. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, and comfortable working with contracts, receivables, and customer account data in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Manage customer account setup, maintenance, and documentation Review credit information, monitor account activity, and support credit decisions Communicate with customers regarding balances, billing questions, and payment issues Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and account concerns Prepare and maintain contracts and related documentation Ensure accuracy and compliance with contract and account information Maintain records for accounts, contracts, rebates, and recurring processes Support reporting, process improvements, and special projects Identify risks and escalate issues appropriately Handle sensitive financial and contract information with confidentiality Qualifications Strong organizational and multitasking skills Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset Professional customer service approach Working knowledge of accounting, billing, receivables, credit, or contracts Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability Preferred Experience Experience with credit, collections, receivables, or contract administration Exposure to legal or contract management processes Industry experience in fuel, energy, transportation, or similar is a plus Relevant certifications are a plus All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
