About this position:
LMCU is currently looking for a Card Services Specialist to join our team. This Card Services Specialist I role requires a deep understanding of credit union products and services, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The Card Services Specialist I assists staff and members with account and card questions; control issuing, blocking, or renewal of credit cards/ATM cards/Debit cards as well as reviewing charges to determine fraudulent activity. What you'll do: Assists members and staff with their telephone requests regarding card servicing; answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve. Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations. Prevents fraud by correctly identifying members using call identification procedures. Report any suspicious activities or potential security breaches to the appropriate personnel. Provides members with information and direction regarding their account status, requests, payments, and rights and obligations associated with the account. Actively participate in employee-led coaching sessions with supervisors, while taking ownership of personal coaching goals. Performs other related duties as assigned. What you'll bring: A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. High school diploma or equivalent (required); some college coursework or banking experience is a plus. What you'll get:
