Fike is a privately held business located in Blue Springs, MO with over 400 employees locally & over 1,200 employees worldwide.
Job Summary:
The Credit Specialist will support the finance team's initiative in controlling the end-to-end execution of the sales credit lifecycle and customer master data management. This role is critical for maintaining accurate financial records and high customer satisfaction by ensuring all sales credit, order discrepancies, and promotional rebates are reviewed and processed efficiently. The Credit Specialist will work under the guidance of senior professionals to learn the nuances of the company's commercial focused processes.Primary Responsibilities:
Audits incoming sales credit requests for accuracy, ensuring all required supporting documentation (e.g., proof of return, approval) is included. Collaborates with the sales and operations teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies in sales credit requests. Enters and processes approved credit memos into the ERP system with a high degree of data entry accuracy. Maintains organized electronic and physical files of all credit transactions for audit and compliance purposes. Assists in the development and preparation of monthly reports on sales credit activity. Controls a clean customer database by reviewing new account applications, verifying tax IDs, and accurately entering all data into the ERP system. Regularly audits and updates existing customer records (address changes, contact updates, payment terms) to ensure billing and shipping accuracy. Ensures all credit memos and new account files meet internal control standards and external audit requirements. Maintains confidentiality of all information processed. Performs related duties as assigned. Regular and consistent attendance is required.Essential Skills:

While performing the duties of this job, the environment is general office work and the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, hear, see, sit and use hands. Some travel domestically and internationally, as required.Job Qualifications:
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance and relevant finance experience. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to deal effectively with a variety of corporate functional organizations, professional disciplines and customers. Advanced skills in spreadsheet, word processing software applications, and Google Suite.PREFERRED
Two to three years progressive work experience in accounts receivable or credit analysis.Compensation:
