Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Recertification Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing annual recertifications both for Section 8 and LIHTC as well as Interim Recertifications. This role requires a strong understanding of HUD regulations. The Recertification Specialist will play a critical role in supporting our management office operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization. This position will deal directly with tenants. Responsibilities Conduct thorough interviews when preparing recertification 59s. Utilize software such as Onesite, Microsoft Office, WorkNumber and EIV Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws, HUD and Tax Credit regulations Maintain accurate records and maintain organization to ensure timely completion of all tasks. Communicate effectively with supervisor of all assigned tasks Qualifications Experience with Section 8 (HUD paperwork and regulation) Experience with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) is a plus. Strong understanding of compliance. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
