Support Specialist, College Credit Plus Clark State College - 3.5 Springfield, OH Job Details Part-time $17 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Description The College Credit Plus (CCP) Support Specialist provides operational, administrative, and student support for the College Credit Plus program in alignment with Clark State College's mission, vision, and core values. This part-time position assists with processing CCP application materials, maintaining student records, supporting CCP communications, and coordinating orientation logistics and attendance tracking. The role also supports outreach activities and CCP-related events as needed. Working collaboratively with the Director of Early College Programs and CCP advising staff, the CCP Support Specialist helps ensure accurate documentation, effective communication, and a positive experience for prospective and current CCP students, parents, and partner schools.
Shift:
Monday - Friday; 25 hours per week for 50 weeks between 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Evenings and weekends, as needed.
Location:
Springfield Location This position is not eligible for telecommuting. Processes application documents for College Credit Plus (CCP) in CRM and Colleague as necessary. Assists with management of the CCP inbox as requested. Presents CCP orientations and completes data entry for all attendees. Reviews course rosters for required documentation. Assists with CCP-related events as needed. Coordinates CCP orientation content, delivery formats, and presentation of materials. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Knowledge and Skills Experience Six months to two years of similar or related experience. Education A high school education or GED.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Requires travel to K-12 partner locations; a valid driver's license and/or dependable transportation is required. Interpersonal Skills A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or can be of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. Work Environment Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a normal office.
