As a Credit Disputes Specialist, you will be responsible for responding to credit inquiries in a professional and timely manner. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the Brundage Corporate office in the Accounting and Compliance Department. Respond to all consumer credit disputes, set by the FCRA and CRRG, whether direct or indirect to the customer directly or all the three major credit bureaus within 15-25 days of receipt. Respond to all indirect disputes through Sonnet/E-Oscar within 15-25 days of receipt by updating the ACDV that comes in from the customer. Verify the disputed and account information against LPX and correct if necessary. On average we receive 300+ disputes daily. Pull credit views to confirm Sun Loan is reporting correctly and correct if needed by submitting and AUD in Sonnet E-Oscar. Notify any Sun Loan office of any errors in the monthly Consumer Data Processing report and ask them to correct the customer's account Respond to credit inquiry removal request are submitted by email or encrypted email to the credit agency from which it was pulled as a result of fraud, identity theft or other individual circumstance. Verify and correct the monthly random account report by submitting an AUD correction in Sonnet. Answer phone calls from Sun Loan customers regarding credit report corrections and submit the corrections if needed through Sonnet. Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate will have High school diploma or GED, Associate's in accounting or business preferred. The ability to learn and retain on the job procedures. Customer service experience A passion for details. Ability to enter a high volume of data accurately by the assigned deadline Ability to communicate with branch staff and employees at all levels in a professional manner. A strong work ethic who is reliable and dependable. The ability to think critically and recognize potential problems proactively. Strong teamwork skills.
