ABOUT CPLC
Prestamos is an award-winning Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Community Development Entity that has provided small business loans and high-quality technical support services to business owners in underserved communities since 1980. CPLC Prestamos now offers loan products, business consulting services and investment opportunities in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas.
POSITION SUMMARY
Provide customer service to the borrower from the beginning to the end of the loan term. The job involves reviewing and submitting loan documents to ensure that the documents meet the conditions of closing and are in compliance with closing guidelines, policies, and procedures. Coordinates the closing schedule with the title company and provides a settlement document for review and approval.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
Perform Tickler Report maintenance changes for collateral, financial, tax returns, insurance, UCC searches, contracts, etc. ensuring additions, modifications, and deletions are properly recorded. Monitor delinquent taxes by reviewing Tax Service reports. Prepare letters to customers, update contact log, maintain appropriate support, and report findings to Portfolio Manager. Certify process quarterly. Manage, assist and respond to internal and external customer inquiries via telephone or email timely and accurately. Maintain, prepare, and track UCC Continuation financing statements. Ensure the Tickler Report is updated to reflect appropriate dates for review. Monitor the Tickler Report and ensure UCC filings are properly tracked and reported to the Portfolio Manager/Senior Credit Officer/Vice-President. Prepare quarterly and annual reviews for the Portfolio Manager & Senior Credit Officer. Prepare loan documents. Site Visit to Businesses.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Education /
Background:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing and accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of job experience & education, preferred.
Other requirements:
Able to work in the office 3 times a week Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
