In this vital role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan process, assessing their financial needs, and providing tailored loan solutions that meet both client goals and regulatory standards. Your expertise will help clients achieve their homeownership or refinancing objectives while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales skills, financial knowledge, and customer service excellence to make a meaningful impact on our clients' financial journeys. Responsibilities Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial goals and recommend appropriate loan products. Conduct thorough credit analysis, income verification, and property evaluations to determine loan eligibility. Manage the entire loan origination process from application submission through underwriting, approval, and closing. Utilize mortgage servicing software such as FNMA guidelines, Quicken, and other financial software tools to process loans efficiently. Negotiate terms with clients while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, TILA (Truth in Lending Act), and other federal and state laws. Prepare and review contracts, escrow documents, and loan agreements to ensure accuracy and completeness. Maintain detailed records of all loan activities, including documentation of customer interactions, underwriting decisions, and compliance checks. Skills Proven experience in financial sales, mortgage lending, or related banking roles with a strong understanding of loan origination processes. Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-centric approach to service delivery. Knowledge of FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines, mortgage servicing procedures, and underwriting standards. Proficiency in financial software such as Quicken, accounting software, escrow management tools, and 10-key typing for data entry accuracy. Strong math skills including basic math calculations essential for credit analysis and loan structuring. Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations, TILA requirements, and general banking practices. Ability to perform credit analysis accurately while adhering to compliance standards related to contracts and financial services.
