Who we are seeking for this role: Provide superior customer service while processing customer transactions and performing daily retail banking functions accurately and efficiently. Possess a working knowledge of bank products and services. Actively cross-sell products and services and make appropriate referrals. Comply with applicable banking regulations as well as Bank policies and procedures. As a Loan Serving Seasonal Employee you are responsible for: Performing all duties associated with monitoring homeowner's insurance coverage on mortgaged properties as well as the payment of real estate taxes. Maintain quality control and compliance in the preparation and processing of mortgage and loan payoff documentation.
Responsibilities:
Ensure company service standards are continually achieved Property insurance tracking functions, follow up on cancellations, and update insurance records & make payments for escrowed properties. Prepare loan payoff documentation and mortgage releases within required timeframes and process payoff transactions Communicate with closing attorneys for timely processing of payoffs Scan documentation as necessary including but not limited to payoff documentation, loan documents, and insurance policies for mortgage, consumer, and commercial loans. Assist in department teller transaction processing and balancing functions including auditing of daily mortgage loan exception payment reports Assist in daily new mortgage loan set up to servicing system, ensuring integrity of data input. Ensure timely processing and payment of escrowed insurance policies Ensure activities within assigned functional area of responsibility is in compliance with State and Federal regulations Assist and act as back-up in other residential, consumer and commercial loan servicing functions as needed
Education and Qualifications:
High School diploma plus continued education in specialized banking courses is preferred. Minimum one year of experience in Loan Servicing or a Minimum two years of banking or comparable experience required.
