Newtown, CT Newtown Savings Bank is seeking a friendly, organized, team player to join our Loan Servicing Department as a Part-time Loan Servicing Representative . This position is responsible for preforming a variety of clerical and administrative duties that support the department functions and activities. Acts as a utility player in the department when certain areas are at maximum capacity or they are short-staffed/vacations. Responsibilities include insurance tracking, scanning, filing, customer mailings, and research. T his approximately 20 hour per week part-time role is onsite at our Newtown Corporate location.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor hazard insurance cancellations for residential and commercial loan customers. Update system insurance tracking. Communicate with customers and insurance agents, and force-place insurance when necessary within specified time frame. Complete the payment for bank-paid premiums, and update records. Prepare cancellation letters requesting updated policies for all cancellations and force place coverage as needed. Ensure that regulatory requirements are met. Maintain all condominium master policies and contact the condominium association for updates as necessary. Responsible for all loan-related return mail. Complete the research to find current address and update system. Assist with projects as necessary; such as mailings or product notifications to a population of customers. Scan and/or file loan documents for all of the Loan Servicing lending areas. Maintain the Department Procedures on the Gateway and work with appropriate staff to update when necessary. Establish SMART goals and provide results/documentation to management quarterly. Participate in various civic and community functions to further enhance the image of the bank and to network for continuous new business opportunities. Promote the Bank's products and services.
