Job Description

A leading company in the industrial distribution industry is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Representative to join its Finance team. This role is responsible for reviewing customer credit information, supporting sound credit decisions, and facilitating timely order releases while minimizing financial risk. The ideal candidate will have experience in Accounts Receivable, credit analysis, and customer communications, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position is responsible for achieving maximum credit release while vetting orders to ensure they meet the standards set. Research and compile credit information on customers to facilitate order release Perform credit application and trade reference research to obtain credit evidence from financial institutions and customer vendors Carry out thorough credit checks to enable the initiation of sound credit decisions Inform internal business partners of progress of credit investigation Communicate with customers when other special credit requirements or advance deposits are deemed necessary Perform other duties as required
Competencies and Skills:
