Loan Officer & Bank Clerk

```Duties```

• Answer member phone calls and assist with resolving their banking needs
• Process member loan applications
• Conduct credit analysis and underwriting for loan applications
• Communicate with members either to request or to provide loan information
• Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them
• Complete loan contracts and counsel members on policies and restrictions
• Maintain and update account records and loan files
• Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans
• Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines
• Serve as Bank Teller to help members with their daily banking transactions ```Experience```
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a customer service role, preferably in a banking or financial institution, but will train the right candidate
• Customer service experience is a must but will train on loan processing, where needed
• Familiarity with computers and office equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications.
