Primary Function:
The role of a loan servicer involves servicing consumer, mortgage and business loans. These tasks include processing creditor-placed insurance (CPI), credit bureau disputes, and TruStage debt protection claims, as well as performing SCRA verifications.

Job Qualifications:
(Skills/Abilities) Working knowledge of organization's policies/procedures and Credit Union's service philosophy. Working knowledge of Credit Union in-house computer system, products and services. Ability to present a professional and personable personality that communicates to members and visitors that the Credit Union is a professional financial institution. Ability to effectively review documents. Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions. Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to assess needs of multiple members and prioritize requests to ensure that all members receive the highest quality service possible. Ability to handle daily routine with moderate freedom to interpret and act upon various situations. Ability to perform necessary computer related input. Ability to work within precise standardized guidelines with some latitude to make decisions and take initiative to resolve problems or unique circumstances.
Job Qualifications:
(Education/Experience) 1. Requires high school level of language, math, and reasoning skills. 2. One year experience in a related field with equal responsibilities is acceptable. Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education.
