Full-time Description:
Marshall Community Credit Union is hiring a Mortgage Loan Servicer to join our Lending Operations team. This is a detail-oriented, process-driven role that keeps our mortgage portfolio running accurately and on time, covering everything from loan setup through year-end reporting. The Mortgage Loan Servicer is responsible for posting closed loans to our servicing platform, processing daily payments, managing secondary market remittances, and maintaining escrow records for property taxes, homeowner's insurance, and related accounts. Month-end and year-end processing are a regular part of the work, including generating and distributing 1098s to mortgagees and balancing
FNMA PFP
loans to the servicing platform. Beyond the numbers, this role has a member-facing component. You'll handle payoff statements, land contract payment inquiries, and balloon loan correspondence, so clear communication matters as much as accuracy. This is a full-time, non-exempt, on-site position.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required One to three years of experience in mortgage loan servicing, lending operations, or a related financial services role preferred Familiarity with Encompass, FICS, or comparable mortgage servicing platforms preferred Knowledge of escrow administration and secondary market processes preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, payment processing, and recordkeeping Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Effective written and verbal communication skills EEO Statement Marshall Community Credit Union is an equal opportunity employer.
