$16.00 per hour Position Overview We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our payday loan office in Cape Girardeau. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, has strong communication skills, and can work independently in an office setting. The successful candidate will be comfortable discussing financial products with customers, processing loan applications, handling payments, and providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone Process loan applications and explain loan products Accept and post customer payments Answer questions regarding accounts and loan terms Maintain customer files and documentation Perform general clerical and administrative duties Follow company policies and compliance requirements Build positive relationships with customers Manage daily office operations independently Qualifications Experience in loans, loan processing, consumer finance, banking, or related financial services preferred Strong clerical and administrative skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Friendly, professional, and easy to talk to Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated Comfortable working independently Basic computer and data entry skills High school diploma or equivalent What We're Looking For Strong people skills and a positive attitude Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable discussing financial products with customers Ability to build customer relationships and trust Dependable with a strong work ethic Professional appearance and demeanor Will Train the Right Person Experience in loans and loan processing is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has excellent customer service skills, strong clerical abilities, and a desire to learn the consumer lending industry.
