Your expertise will ensure that loan accounts are accurately maintained, payments are processed efficiently and communications are delivered professionally. This position offers an exciting opportunity to interact with borrowers and lenders while supporting loan servicing and loan origination processes. We are able to be flexible on setting a schedule that works for you. There is opportunity for this to evolve into a full-time position should you desire that growth. Responsibilities Process payments, modifications and payoffs, with attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness Review and verify documentation related to loan origination, underwriting, and servicing activities Manage loan accounts by updating payment schedules, tracking insurance and property taxes and communicating with borrowers and lenders. Maintain detailed records of all transactions, contracts, and correspondence related to each loan file Perform basic math calculations for interest accruals, payment adjustments, and escrow disbursements using 10-key typing skills Qualifications Proven experience in mortgage servicing or loan processing within the financial services industry Familiarity with title/escrow, real estate and/or lending terms, processes and procedures. Understanding of banking operations, escrow management, and contract review processes Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform basic math accurately under tight deadlines Proficiency in using mortgage software systems and 10-key typing skills for data entry We value energetic professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service at every step.
