Job Description

Position Summary:
The Loan Servicing Coordinator is responsible for handling complex, high-risk, and strategic servicing functions within the Loan Operations department. This role performs in-depth research, resolves advanced reporting discrepancies, and serves as the first line of contact for swap loans, participation loans, and other complex loan structures. The Loan Servicing Coordinator handles Level III and higher work items, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution while supporting the banks operational integrity and risk management objectives. This individual would be responsible for the collection and organization of documentation required for internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.

Minimum 35 years of banking experience.

Strong knowledge of loan documentation, servicing systems, and regulatory requirements.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Essential Duties:
Conduct detailed research and analysis on complex loan servicing issues, ensuring accurate resolution and documentation.

Review, analyze, and correct illogical or exception reporting within loan systems.

Serve as the primary point of contact for:

Swap loansParticipation loans (both lead and purchased)Complex commercial and specialty loan issuesProcess and resolve Level III or higher work items, including escalated and time-sensitive matters.

Identify root causes of discrepancies and recommend process improvements to prevent recurrence.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, investor guidelines, and internal policies.

Collaborate with Credit, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, and other departments to resolve cross-functional issues.

Assist with audits, exams, and internal reviews by providing documentation and research support.

Maintain accurate system records and ensure data integrity across loan platforms.

Support system enhancements, conversions, and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Review system releases and assist with release testing.

Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office setting with little to moderate exposure to noise, heat, dust, or other adverse factors. Working extended hours may be required as needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
