Job Description

Senior Loan Servicing Specialist (Hybrid - Columbia, SC) The Senior Loan Servicing Specialist ensures accurate and timely servicing of complex loan transactions within the Capital Markets portfolio. This role focuses on maintaining compliance, safeguarding data integrity, and supporting operational efficiency through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. What You'll Do Loan Transaction Management Coordinate end-to-end loan closings, ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with established standards. Maintain complete and auditable borrower records to support internal teams and external reviews. Monitor and escalate overdue reporting items in alignment with risk protocols. Data Integrity and Credit Risk Oversight Enter and maintain accurate borrower, investor, and facility data in core systems. Validate and update credit risk metrics following renewals, refinances, and portfolio changes. Support system updates and enhancements related to loan coding and risk management. Operational Support and Reporting Respond to servicing inquiries and manage workflow requests from internal support channels. Prepare executive and board-level reports and perform reconciliations to ensure financial control compliance. Assist with onboarding and training of new team members and contribute to process improvement initiatives. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is required. 4-6 years of experience in loan documentation or related administrative functions. Strong knowledge of corporate loan documentation. Proficiency in relevant systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM, ACBS). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
