Full Time Hours 8:30a-4:30p M, T, W, F and 8a-5p
TH Position Duties:
Underwrites residential loan applications, conducts analysis of standard credit information, and issues approval or denial of mortgage loans, consumer loans, home equity loans and home equity lines of credit within scope of authority. Completes second review of all Consumer non-originated loans Assists Bank personnel in consumer loans that do not meet bank guidelines Assists Bank personnel in clarifying unusual loan situations, makes recommendations, and provides solutions to meet customers' needs. Ability to underwrite more complex loan applications. Researches and responds to supervisor on loans requiring additional escalation and review; has the ability to summarize issues, concerns and recommendations Provides back-up support to Supervisor as necessary to ensure efficient operations and smooth and timely flow of work. Reviews all residential appraisals for acceptance and addresses concerns with VP-Loan Processing Manager and VP, Retail Loan Operations. Evaluates applicant income by analyzing pay stubs, W-2 forms, Federal 1040 tax returns, seasonal unemployment, rental income, DBA income, Schedules C and E, child support/alimony. Also evaluates corporate tax returns, S Corporation returns, K-1 income, Partnership returns, Estate returns and retirement income (social security, pension, IRA, and dividend income).
Position Requirements:
Strong knowledge of the bank's mortgage products supported by a firm understanding of the bank's products and services Ability to learn bank's lending systems; computer skills must include working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel Must possess excellent communication, organizational, customer service, analytical and interpersonal skills
