Job Description

Loan Servicing Specialist (Collections) Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is seeking a motivated and professional Loan Servicing Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Johnson City, TN . This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in collections, loan servicing, call centers, or customer account management who thrive in a goal-oriented environment.

Temp-to-Hire Job Summary The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for managing past-due accounts, contacting customers regarding delinquent payments, and helping borrowers establish payment solutions. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, dependable, and comfortable working toward collection goals while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Contact customers regarding past-due loan accounts via phone, email, and written communication Negotiate payment arrangements and assist customers in resolving delinquent accounts Document all collection activities accurately within company systems Monitor account status and follow up on outstanding balances Maintain professionalism and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations Meet established collection goals, productivity standards, and performance metrics Research account information and resolve customer inquiries Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internal software systems to manage account activity Work collaboratively with team members and management to achieve departmental objectives Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required, additional degree preferred but not required 1-5 years of experience in collections, loan servicing, call center operations, financial services, customer service, or a related field Strong phone communication and customer service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of account activity Goal-oriented with the ability to meet performance quotas and deadlines Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail Reliable work ethic and strong attendance record What We're Looking For Hard-working and self-motivated individuals Strong problem-solvers with excellent communication skills Team players who can build rapport with customers while maintaining collection objectives Candidates who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Apply Today!
