This position will include a base pay and performance-based bonuses. The Role As a Background Investigation Representative, you'll play a critical role in our due diligence process, ensuring every business partnership starts on a solid foundation. You'll be the detective behind the scenes, building comprehensive profiles, uncovering key findings, and making informed decisions that protect the integrity of our operations. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough background investigations on businesses and their owners Build detailed customer profiles using data from multiple available reports Identify, analyze, and communicate findings that impact decision-making Determine next steps: approve, request additional documentation, or deny applications - all in line with internal guidelines Review incoming documentation to resolve open questions from prior investigations Stay active and responsive on internal chat channels to support daily operations and follow-ups Requirements Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Prior experience in customer service, finance, operations, or administrative processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously Comfortable working in a digital, fast-moving environment Comfortable with digital tools Results-driven, proactive, and able to perform under pressure.
