We are seeking a Loan Sales Representative. The Loan Sales Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional member service while originating and supporting consumer loan products. This role focuses on building relationships with members through outbound and inbound communication channels, identifying lending opportunities, and ensuring accurate loan application processing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, works well under pressure, and is committed to helping members achieve their financial goals. What you'll be doing: Handle outbound and inbound calls related to member lending needs and loan opportunities. Respond promptly to member loan requests received through phone, email, and other communication channels. Conduct video meetings with members to discuss loan products, application requirements, and lending solutions. Accurately complete and submit loan applications for processing and underwriting. Work closely with loan processing and underwriting teams to ensure timely and accurate loan decisions. Identify and discuss additional lending and financial service opportunities with members. Cross-sell ancillary protection products including GAP, Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP), and Debt Protection products. Maintain strong product knowledge and sales techniques through ongoing coaching, training, and collaboration with sales and business development teams. Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service while maintaining compliance with credit union policies and regulations. Manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in stressful or high-volume situations. Build long-term member relationships by identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate solutions. What you'll need: Previous sales, lending, banking, or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Detail-oriented with strong data entry and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential member information professionally and accurately. Experience with consumer lending products and loan documentation is preferred. Comfortable using phone systems, email platforms, and virtual meeting technology. Ability to identify cross-sale opportunities and meet performance goals. Why Heartland?
