The Loan Processor & Servicing Specialist is responsible for supporting our Lenders at all branch locations and works on all loan types: consumer, commercial, real estate, SBA, and participation. This role is an on-site position based in our New Richmond, WI branch location. Hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Works closely through professional communication with Lenders and co-workers within the department to ensure accurate documents, files, processes, and resolutions. Create loan documents for closings. Accurately enter loan details into company software programs. Process loan payments, payoff requests, transfers, rate or payment changes, and escrow analysis. Fund loans and request wires. Record liens, UCCs, and satisfactions. Obtain flood determinations and credit reports. Order appraisals and title work. Reconciliation of General Ledger accounts and other general accounting tasks. Set up AFT payments on loans. Request ACH payments. Order coupon books. Review and scan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and record retention requirements. Ongoing tracking and updating of documents as needed. Read various reports and update files and programs as needed. Update and create procedures as needed. Answer telephone calls and emails to assist customers and co-workers. Assist with servicing tasks w/ investor sold loans. Taxes and insurance tracking. Review mail. Send checks and letters. Complete all assigned training courses and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent A minimum of one year of experience in a financial institution role or equivalent combination of education and related work experience in financial services or retail/business banking desired A minimum of one year of experience in lending preferred Excellent communication skills required; ability to work in a team environment, learn quickly, and apply knowledge as needed Proficient in computer skills and ability to operate standard office equipment Ability to uphold confidentiality and customer privacy in all situations Basic accounting knowledge preferred
Software Operating Requirements Include:
Jack Henry/Silverlake, LaserPro, and Encompass preferred Microsoft Office Suite products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams Competitive pay and benefit package offered for this position.
