Job Summary We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Import/Export Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless and efficient execution of the company's international shipments while maintaining full compliance with relevant regulations. A key focus will be on managing the logistics, documentation, and regulatory requirements for goods both entering and leaving the country, with an emphasis on cost-effectiveness and accuracy. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of logistics and freight forwarding, strong attention to detail, and is proficient with computer systems. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred. If you are looking to start your career in logistics with a growing global company, it's time for you to join us! The Role The person who we're looking for will be assigned the following duties: Ensure that all contract documents are complete and conform to required standards and export regulations. Receive, review, and process export documentation such as B/L and AWB. Data entry and maintain shipment info in a timely and accurate manner. Tracking/tracing shipments. Coordinate any necessary transportation to make sure that delivery has been completed. Ensure cargo pick-up and delivery on schedule. Ensure that all documents are in proper order, scan, fax, and file documents. Handle pick-up instructions and send arrival notices. Analyze airline capacity and performance. Provide excellent customer service. Daily Monitor inbound flight status until shipments retrieved Communicate with overseas offices to ensure that they send appropriate import documents and follow customers' SOP Follow up with Broker for Customs Exceptional case. Follow up with CFS team to monitor shipment delivery to vendor Escalate unique or complex customer/ operations issues in a timely manner and resolve them with necessary assistance. Assist Manager and team with performance review with vendors Assist Manager and team to Develop internal SOP's and maintain KPI's for the efficient management of inbound freight including timely recovery and hand over to last mile carriers Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese preferred. Experience with export/import operations preferred. Experience with small parcels, cargo, and e-commerce shipping and handling preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to work independently with good interpersonal skills. Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Accurate data entry skills. Proficient in MS Office applications.Job Type:
