Customs Import Coordinator - Miami, FL A leading global organization in the travel retail and logistics industry is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customs Import Coordinator to join its Miami team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong import/export experience who thrives in a fast-paced international environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with vendors, carriers, customs agencies, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced in U.S. Customs regulations, FTZ operations, and import documentation processes. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and track incoming international shipments from multiple vendors and suppliers
  • Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to obtain required arrival documentation
  • Classify shipments using U.S. Customs Tariff codes
  • Process FTZ admission entries (CF214) and submit documentation through ACE
  • Monitor cargo releases and coordinate warehouse deliveries and pickups
  • Prepare duty-paid entries for bonded merchandise, shortages, damages, testers, and promotional items
  • Create and maintain internal inventory receiving documentation
  • Maintain permit and master file records in compliance with U.S. Customs regulations
  • Calculate storage charges and coordinate payment requests when applicable
  • Prepare and file discrepancy reports related to shortages or damaged cargo
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and other governmental agency regulations
