Our client an international freight forwarding and logistics company, is seeking a licensed customs broker to join their Illinois team.

Key Responsibilities:
Classify goods using HTS codes Prepare and submit customs entries via ACE/ABI Ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies Communicate with Customs, PGAs, and clients on shipments Resolve holds, exams, and clearance issues Maintain accurate import documentation and records Coordinate with logistics teams for cargo release and delivery Support audits, process improvements, and train junior staff
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience as a licensed customs broker Knowledgeable in US import regulations, HTS classification and PGA requirements Active US Customs broker license
ACE , ABI
