Job DescriptionAir Export Night Agent will serve in an operations capacity, responsible for processing export shipments including accompanying export documentation. Major duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Receive documentsPrepare shipmentsRoute shipmentsManage freight receiptProcess shipmentsMonitor/Track shipmentsManage your desk to customer and company KPI'sTimely reply to all emailsComplete 52 hrs of training credit per yearTimely problem solving/resolutionAny functions deemed necessary by supervisor or managerDevelop friendly and professional relationships with customersTraining peers as neededAction miscellaneous accounting items that pertain to assigned accountsSend shipment alerts to all customers and keep them updated on the progress of their shipmentsMust comply with Expeditors and Govt regulations/policiesMust maintain and preserve company cultureMust display a willingness to work in a team environmentPhysical DemandsUse of standard office equipment - computer with keyboard and mouse, phone, fax/copy/scan machine, etc. Write with pencil/pen/marker Functions performed primarily while seated at desk
Qualifications Effective interpersonal skills - including the ability to listen, comprehend and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

Follows customer's standard operating procedures and proactively notifies customers of any issues. Consistently meets KPI standards, as per company's procedures. Timely and Accurate Data EntryEnsures accurate and timely data entry into our operational systems according to Expeditors' operational procedures and customer requirements. Monitors exception reports for quick data integrity resolution. Timely and Accurate Billing and AccountingInvoices customers the expected charges timely and accurately and according to Expeditors and customer requirements. Properly provisions service provider charges to avoid reserves.
