Corrigan Air & Sea Cargo specializes in oversize freight, custom packaging & crating of equipment for import and export. We manage the international shipping logistics, supply chain programs and warehousing and distribution for many different types of businesses throughout the world. The Export Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the export of goods and commodities by air, land , and/or sea. This includes preparing all necessary documentation, arranging shipping, and tracking shipments until delivery.

Export Coordinator Responsibilities :

Coordinate Air, Land and/or Ocean Freight shipments with Suppliers, Customers, Steamship lines, truckers, Inspection companies

Export Documentation:

Prepare and review export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, to ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations. Performs quoting, contract negotiation, pricing, as well as booking/scheduling according to internal guidelines and customer expectations. Management of warehouse inventory, container consolidation and deconsolidation Checks responses from counterparts and finalizes validation of required documents. Responsible for customer service and follow-up on shipment status, identifies incidents, tracking and tracing of shipments and ensures resolution of incidents to meet and exceed customer expectations. Interacts with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers, if required.

Customs Compliance:

Stay up to date with international trade regulations, including TSA, CBP, and export control laws, and ensure that all shipments are in full compliance.

Export Coordinator Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 2 years of experience in ocean freight export operations. Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures. Proficient in using export management software and systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
