Junior Customs Release Analyst

Robert Half Permanent Placement is partnering with an established logistics company in Niagara Falls, NY on their search for a Junior Customs Release Analyst. This is an in-office role with a starting wage of $20•$22 per hour based on experience. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow their skills with an eye on potential advancement, as our partner is going through a period of tremendous growth.

Please note: this is an afternoon start position with either a 2 PM•10 PM or 3 PM•11 PM shift.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Oversee the release, classification, and billing of import shipments to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and partner agency requirementsPrepare customs documentation, including bonds, for inspection and release of imported goodsEnsure all shipments are processed accurately and promptly, meeting legal and customer expectationsResolve accounting issues and guarantee accurate, timely billing for all transactionsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of customs procedures and regulatory changesCollaborate with other units and be adaptable to additional tasks as assigned
