Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Air/Ocean Freight Import Export Specialist to join our North American team. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate international shipments, provide accurate and competitive quotations, and ensure customers' transportation needs are met efficiently. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end logistics process, coordinate with customers, carriers, truckers, customs brokers, and overseas agents, and ensure shipments move smoothly from origin to destination. This role offers significant growth potential. Due to frequent communication with our headquarters and overseas offices, bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is required. Key Duties & Responsibilities Shipment Coordination Arrange and oversee international import and export shipments via air freight or ocean freight, ensuring timely and efficient transportation. Documentation & Compliance Prepare and review shipping documents, including: Commercial Invoices Air Waybills (AWB) Bills of Lading (B/L) Packing Lists Export Declarations Import Documentation Certificates of Origin Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements. Customs Clearance & Regulatory Compliance Coordinate with customs brokers, government agencies, and customers to facilitate smooth import and export clearance processes. Carrier & Vendor Coordination Work closely with airlines, steamship lines, trucking companies, warehouses, freight forwarders, and overseas agents to schedule and execute shipments. Quotation & Pricing Provide competitive quotations, maintain pricing records, and assist customers with transportation solutions that balance service and cost. Shipment Tracking & Issue Resolution Monitor shipment status, provide proactive updates to customers, and resolve delays, customs issues, documentation discrepancies, or transportation challenges. Customer Service & Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, vendors, and business partners to ensure high service levels and customer satisfaction. Data Management Maintain accurate shipment records, customer information, and operational documentation within company systems. Qualifications Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international trade preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service mindset Bilingual in English and Chinese required Kind, honest, responsible, and detail-oriented Requirements 1+ year of experience in air freight, ocean freight, freight forwarding, logistics, or international trade Experience handling either air freight or ocean freight operations Understanding of international shipping documentation, customs procedures, and transportation regulations Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems Work Locations Inglewood, CA 90303 El Monte, CA 91731 Norco, CA 92860 Work from Home Why Join Bondex?
