Job Description

JJob Summary Customs Brokerage Solutions Manager - Managing customs brokerage in support of consulting services such as post summary corrections and protests for Prior Disclosures and filing of reconciliation entries. The position will require facilitation of automation processes to reduce data entry and maximize efficiency, providing feedback to consultants, attorneys, and clients, and interfacing with government agencies such as CBP, FDA, EPA, and more. Strong relationship building with clients (internal and external) is essential. You will be in a pivotal role growing strategic solutions for a dynamic and growing business and you will be supported directly by a leadership team that will support your creativity as we seek maximum compliance and accuracy while mitigating risks. Responsibilities Develop and oversee customs brokerage operations supporting post summary corrections, protests, reconciliation entry, FTZ administration, and duty drawback. Develop and execute comprehensive brokerage strategies aligned with organizational goals to optimize post entry management. Manage regulatory reporting processes in accordance with all Partner Government Agency regulations, including FDA, and any other relevant industry standards to ensure full compliance across all operations. Help develop current and future customs brokerage product offerings to enhance consulting and legal service opportunities. Hire and train operations and supervisory staff to run customs brokerage operations day-to-day. Lead compliance management efforts by monitoring adherence to industry regulations, conducting audits, and maintaining accurate report writing for internal and external review. Support consulting and legal operations with operational knowledge of customs brokerage transactions and external factors impacting CHB operations. Work collaboratively with company leadership to build our growth and service strategy. Requirements Proven experience in CHB, logistics, supply chain management, or transportation management roles with a focus on brokerage solutions. Customs Broker's License (LCB) Preferred. Strong understanding and knowledge of 19 CFR Customs Regulations and HTSUS classification. Demonstrated expertise in handling and understanding post-entry process and filings. Experience with reconciliation entry filing. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to analyze data for regulatory reporting and operational improvements. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment requiring quick thinking and creativity. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field is preferred; professional certifications such as CCS, MCS, CZS, MCS, or supply chain certifications are a plus. Pay:
$110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
