Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Processing:
Accurately process and record import and export transactions for clients, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Client Interaction:
Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding transaction confirmations, discrepancies, and account statuses. Maintain clear and professional communication to enhance client satisfaction.
Data Entry
Input and update client and transaction information in our database with precision, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
Research and Resolution:
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues in transactions by coordinating with logistics team and USCBP.
Compliance Adherence:
Stay informed about industry regulations and company policies, ensuring all transactions and interactions are compliant. Participate in regular training sessions to remain current on compliance requirements.
Administrative Support:
Provide support to the US Customs brokerage team, with document preparation to include SED's, CBPF7501, CBPF7512, CBPF3461, etc... and timely shipment input to ACE for CBP clearances.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and contribute to team projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Customs brokerage operations
Knowledge of US Customs regulations
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and transaction processing.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Prior experience in the US Customs brokerage industry.
Experience in RB Systems /ABI software strongly preferred.
