Full Job Description Overview Job Description:
Join our dynamic team at Trade-Flex Solutions, where we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customs brokerage services in the supply chain sector. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to support our operations and contribute to our mission of excellence.Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Processing:
- Accurately process and record import and export transactions for clients, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Client Interaction:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding transaction confirmations, discrepancies, and account statuses. Maintain clear and professional communication to enhance client satisfaction.
- Data Entry
- Input and update client and transaction information in our database with precision, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
Research and Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues in transactions by coordinating with logistics team and USCBP.
Compliance Adherence:
- Stay informed about industry regulations and company policies, ensuring all transactions and interactions are compliant. Participate in regular training sessions to remain current on compliance requirements.
Administrative Support:
- Provide support to the US Customs brokerage team, with document preparation to include SED's, CBPF7501, CBPF7512, CBPF3461, etc... and timely shipment input to ACE for CBP clearances.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and contribute to team projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Customs brokerage operations
- Knowledge of US Customs regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and transaction processing.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Prior experience in the US Customs brokerage industry.
- Experience in RB Systems /ABI software strongly preferred.
