We are currently seeking an experienced Air Import Agent to join a dynamic freight forwarding team in Grand Prairie. In this role, you will be the driving force behind coordinating seamless international air shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, and keeping global supply chain moving efficiently.

Pay Rate:

$20.00•$25.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Schedule:

Thursday•Monday | 8:00 AM•5:00

PM Location:

Grand Prairie, TX Your Key Responsibilities Shipment Processing:

Handle high-volume air import transactions from start to finish, including booking, billing, and document verification.

Tracking & Tracing:

Monitor cargo arrivals, update shipment milestones in the freight management system, and proactively manage any exceptions.

Customer Communication:

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, brokers, and carriers, notifying them of arrivals and associated charges.

Compliance & Safety:

Process inbound permits, bonded freight, and hazardous materials strictly adhering to IATA and CFR regulations.

Financials:

Verify carrier invoices, process bills of lading, and maintain accurate records for accounts payable/receivable.

Problem Solving:

Investigate and resolve lost freight, shortages, and claims while communicating with all stakeholders. What You Bring to the

Table Experience:

Minimum of 1-2 years of proven Air Import experience in a freight forwarding or logistics environment.

Education:

Some college coursework or an Associate Degree is preferred.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with INCOTERMS, bonded freight handling, and international import procedures.

Skills:

Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a talent for multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
