Role:

The Contracts Consultant coordinates the execution of new and existing contracts between the company and its business partners (Government and non-Government contracts).

What You Will Do:

Reviews and leads contract execution on products, premium and exposure limits; notifying government and commercial parties of contract terminations, renewals and re-instatements. Preparing bids, negotiating specifications and contractual provisions regarding compensation plans and business targets. Ensures execution of order to delivery standard work process to meet complex contractual requirements. Recommends solutions to ensure alignment to adhere to medium complexity contractual obligations.

Negotiating:

Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Relationship Management:

Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
