Job Description

Air & Ocean Specialist, SeniorPosition Overview Currently hiring an experienced Air & Ocean Specialist, Senior to support international logistics and customs operations. This role is responsible for coordinating import documentation, freight clearance processes, shipment tracking, customer communication, and ensuring compliance with U.S. Federal Regulations related to air and ocean freight. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple shipments in a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities Provide high-level customer service and shipment support to clients. Handle and coordinate Air & Ocean import shipments. Process customs documentation and ensure compliance with regulations. Monitor shipment status, tracing, and freight movement daily. Coordinate with forwarders, carriers, brokers, and internal departments. Ensure PODs (Proof of Delivery) are received and properly documented. Manage shipment entry summaries and clearance documentation. Support billing processes and profit review for shipments. Expedite urgent shipments when required. Maintain accurate operational records and shipment files. Assist in improving and maintaining department processes and workflows. Perform additional operational duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in Air & Ocean logistics, customs, or freight forwarding preferred. Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines. Computer proficiency including email, spreadsheets, and logistics systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Available Schedules Full Time — Monday to
