Job Description

Coordinate and process documents through the company's ABI system, obtaining customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate (always in compliance). Utilizes various reports to ensure all entries are processed in a compliant manner Process and/or coordinate any post entry activity on a timely basis Meet periodically with government officials in that local port (CBP, FDA, etc...) Ensure compliance and up to date record keeping at all times to regulations (POAs/USMCAs/etc) Follows up with selected accounts to maintain communication and ensure a healthy client relationship Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system Track and Trace Custom files and reporting Qualifications >1 Years of experience in customs brokerage field (preferred) Bachelor's Degree (could be replaced with experience) Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship ABI knowledge (preferred) Summary As a US Customs Brokerage Entry Clerk, you will utilize your core skills in computer proficiency, data entry, and typing to ensure accurate and efficient processing of customs documentation. With premium skills in managing databases and ERP systems, you will play a vital role in streamlining customs clearance procedures. Your relevant skills in transcription, office experience, and clerical tasks will support the smooth flow of operations. A Bachelor's degree is preferred for this position, emphasizing the importance of attention to detail and compliance with customs regulations.
