Job Description

US Customs Brokerage Clerk We are a U.S. Customs Broker seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Customs Brokerage Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and have hands-on experience with customs entries (CBP Form 7501), as well as in-bond transactions (Types 61, 62, and 63).
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation and Recordkeeping:
Prepare and review customs documentation, including import and export declarations, commercial invoices, packing lists, and other required paperwork. Maintain accurate records and ensure proper retention of all customs-related documents.
Customs Clearance:
Coordinate and oversee customs clearance processes, including duty determination. Coordinate with carriers and clients, to ensure timely and accurate clearance.
Entry Management:
Prepare, review, and close Customs Entries (CBP Form 7501).
In-Bond Operations:
Process and manage in-bond transactions (Types 61, 62, and 63).
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective communication and compliance across all shipments.
Requirements:
Bilingual (English and Spanish) - required Experience in U.S. Customs Brokerage or international logistics Knowledge of CBP regulations, FDA procedures, Section 232, and entry processes Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Teamwork - ability to work effectively as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook, and ACE system experience a plus)
