You will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Financial Operations to spearhead strategic initiatives and drive advancements in operational processes, alongside defining the future direction of the department. This position goes beyond typical accounting responsibilities. The company seeks an innovative leader who can: Cultivate and lead high-achieving accounting teams Foster a culture of accountability and process enhancement Standardize operations and enhance reporting through comprehensive data analytics Effectively engage in sophisticated financial discussions with executive leadership and boards Serve as an organizational point of reference for technical accounting matters Facilitate the enhancement and scalability of accounting systems and controls Collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, IT, training, and business development Additional responsibilities include: ✔ Managing the monthly financial reporting and review process ✔ Handling the challenges of multi-entity accounting systems ✔ Supporting audit activities, internal control mechanisms, and compliance with
SSAE-18 / SOC
standards ✔ Leading the integration and alignment of accounting practices in mergers and acquisitions ✔ Developing and implementing key performance indicators and metrics ✔ Enhancing technology and optimizing accounting systems ✔ Providing mentorship and professional development to Controllers and accounting staff Ideal qualifications include: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting leadership position Strong skills in technical accounting and financial reporting Proficiency in advanced Excel functions such as Power Query, macros, pivot tables, and complex data analysis Proven success in team leadership CPA certification is preferred The right candidate will be a visionary leader in accounting, eager to tackle operational challenges and drive superior performance both individually and for the team.
