Cost Accounting Director

We're partnering with a , multi-entity manufacturing company looking to bring on a Director of Cost Accounting. This is a high-impact role focused on building and improving cost accounting processes. Client will pay for relocation.

Salary:

180-220k + bonus & equity

Responsibilities :

Develop and improve product costing models to better understand margins and profitability Implement and maintain standard costing across the business Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing costs, labor, and overhead Support inventory accounting, including reserves and cost of goods sold Lead variance analysis (price, volume, efficiency) and explain key drivers Build reporting and dashboards to support leadership decision-making Assist with audit readiness and ensure compliance with accounting standards Help improve systems and processes, including ERP and cost tracking tools

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on cost accounting in manufacturing Strong understanding of inventory and cost of goods sold Experience with standard costing and variance analysis Background working with ERP systems CPA or public accounting experience is a plus Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with both finance and operations teams Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
