Job Description

Accounting Consultant Los Angeles , CA Contract Corporate $100/HR to $200/HR 06/24/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Executive Level Revenue Accounting Consultant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $100.00 to $200.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead revenue accounting activities by overseeing processes and ensuring accurate recognition of revenue across reporting periods. Provide guidance on complex revenue transactions and support compliance with accounting standards. Manage and mentor accounting teams while driving performance and accountability. Support financial reporting requirements, including regulatory filings and audit processes. Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in revenue accounting within large or publicly traded organizations. Strong understanding of revenue recognition standards and financial reporting requirements. Previous experience supporting regulatory compliance, including internal controls and reporting obligations. Background in technology or similar fast paced industries. Proven experience managing teams and leading accounting functions.
Qualifications:
Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to interpret complex guidance. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Prior experience in public accounting environments.
