This role works closely with executive leadership and external partners to ensure fiscal integrity, timely reporting, and strong cash management across all business units. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment that requires accuracy, accountability, and responsiveness. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Controls Develop and manage annual operating budgets and cash flow forecasts in collaboration with executive leadership and external accounting partners Conduct regular budget reviews and financial re‑forecasts to support operational and strategic decision‑making Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Payroll & Timekeeping Oversight Oversee full payroll cycle, including reconciliation of time records, deductions, tax remittances, adjustments, and coordination with third‑party payroll providers Address payroll discrepancies promptly and ensure compliance with applicable wage and tax regulations Accounts Receivable Prepare and issue customer invoices according to established billing cycles (weekly, semi‑monthly, monthly, or upon receipt) Actively monitor receivables and follow up on past‑due balances through written and verbal communications Manage collection efforts to support healthy cash flow Accounts Payable Review and validate vendor invoices prior to processing payments Ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time to maintain strong vendor relationships Maintain organized vendor records and reconcile statements regularly Financial Reporting & Compliance Prepare financial data and schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting Support tax filings and coordinate with external CPA and audit partners Maintain organized accounting records and perform journal entries as required Credit Facilities & Banking Manage company lines of credit and loan accounts, including draws, repayments, and reconciliation Prepare financial documentation for new credit or financing needs tied to operational growth Sales & Use Tax Oversee multi‑jurisdictional sales and use tax recording, filing, and remittance Ensure timely compliance with state and local tax requirements Audit & Program Administration Serve as primary liaison during financial, tax, or insurance audits Administer company credit card programs, including reconciliations and expense audits Contribute to the development and enforcement of financial policies and procedures across the organization Additional Support Provide finance‑related guidance to internal departments Support other administrative functions as business needs require
