ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking an experienced and service-oriented Director of Financial Services to lead all aspects of financial operations within our community. From billing and budgeting to audits and reporting, you'll be a key player in driving fiscal health and organizational success — all while mentoring a team and supporting resident satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all accounting functions including G/L, A/R, A/P, payroll, and financial reporting Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, journal entries, and reconciliations Manage billing for independent living, assisted living, and health center residents Ensure compliance with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting Monitor and report on aging accounts, ensuring timely follow-up on delinquencies Lead and develop accounting team members through hiring, training, and mentorship Support department heads with financial insights and collaboration Verify Medicare billing and authorizations Coordinate year-end financial processes and audit readiness
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 3+ years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Proficient in financial software, spreadsheets, and general ledger systems A professional, compassionate demeanor and ability to connect with residents and staff Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all interactions Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
