Salary:

$150,000 - $200,000 annually, plus performance bonus, depending on experience. Position Overview We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance & Accounting to lead all accounting operations while providing financial leadership, planning, and analysis to support a growing construction-related business. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end close processes. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial models. Oversee job costing, project accounting, profitability analysis, and operational reporting. Partner with executive and operations leadership to drive strategic financial decisions. Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience. Experience in residential construction, homebuilding, commercial construction, real estate development, or a related industry. Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis. Advanced Excel skills with experience in job costing, project accounting, and financial leadership. Preferred Qualifications MBA preferred. CPA preferred but not required. Previous experience as a Director of Finance, Controller, or Finance Director. Experience working within privately held or entrepreneurial organizations. Experience with construction ERP systems and project accounting software. Ideal Candidate Hands-on finance leader who enjoys balancing strategic planning with daily accounting operations.
