This role helps drive accurate and reliable financial statements, strengthen controllership processes, and advise stakeholders on accounting matters that affect the firm's financial reporting. Work you'll do As a Firm Enterprise Solutions Associate Director, Controllership on the Controllership team, you will be responsible for + Leading accounting and controllership activities that support accurate financial reporting for the US Firms + Advising stakeholders on accounting policy, transaction review, and financial statement impacts + Overseeing accounting processes, reconciliations, and close activities to support completeness and accuracy + Identifying process improvement opportunities and helping implement changes that strengthen controls and reporting + Collaborating with Finance & Administration and cross-functional teams on accounting issues, governance, and compliance matters A successful candidate would possess these skills: + Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team + Effective written and verbal communication skills + Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product + Ability to build and sustain professional relationships + Ability to lead projects or workstreams + Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment + Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor + Ability to meet deadlines + Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others The team Deloitte's Controllership function within the Accounting & Compliance function serves as a critical component of the US Firms' Finance & Administration organization. Qualifications Required:
