This role will guide accounting strategy, strengthen reporting accuracy, and support business performance through strong financial oversight. The ideal candidate brings deep manufacturing finance expertise, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to improve processes across multiple sites and functions.
Responsibilities:
Direct accounting operations across the business, including general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cost accounting activities. Lead the month-end close cycle and ensure financial results are completed accurately, reviewed thoroughly, and delivered on schedule. Prepare and oversee financial reporting for U.S. entities, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. Partner with operational leaders to evaluate inventory, manufacturing costs, and capital spending decisions that affect business performance. Develop initiatives that improve cost control, expand margins, and create more efficient financial processes across locations. Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment while coordinating support for internal and external audit activities. Promote consistent financial practices and reporting methods across regional teams to improve visibility and standardization. Provide support for treasury and tax-related activities as needed within the broader finance function. Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site finance team, building accountability and strengthening technical capability. Support finance technology and digital improvement efforts, including work within ERP and performance management systems such as OneStream or comparable platforms. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA credentials are preferred. At least 10 years of accounting experience, including 5 or more years in a leadership role. Strong background in manufacturing finance with advanced knowledge of cost accounting methods and analysis. Demonstrated experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and financial statement audit support. Ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced business environment. Experience working with ERP systems, OneStream or similar tools, and Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with multi-site or multi-country operations and a solid understanding of financial reporting standards.
